Dr. April Bui grew up in Washington and is a two-time graduate of the University of Washington, where she earned an undergraduate degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Her path to dentistry was shaped by her own experiences as a patient and by watching her mother navigate dental care. These experiences gave her a personal understanding of how overwhelming dental care can sometimes feel and inspired her to help patients feel heard, informed, and supported.
Dr. Bui believes excellent dentistry begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and provide the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their oral health. Her commitment to service has led her to volunteer with dental outreach clinics serving rural communities in Vietnam and Jamaica. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, swimming, and spending time with family and friends. She is grateful to serve the Kent community and looks forward to building trusting relationships with her patients.
